TED

In my last entry I posted some links to the TED site.
I discovered TED through Garr Reynolds of Presentation Zen fame whose blog I regularly follow. More about his blog in the future (it’s really neat!!) as I want to write about TED today. TED stands for Technology, Entertainment and Design and brings together people from all walks and professions. Their mission statement says’We believe passionately in the power of ideas to change attitudes, lives and ultimately, the world. So we're building here a clearinghouse that offers free knowledge and inspiration from the world's most inspired thinkers, and also a community of curious souls to engage with ideas and each other.’
The site is a fountain of inspiration.TED publishes online for free viewing and listening pleasure its popular talks on various themes. Actually they have grouped the talks under three groups themes, talks and speakers. If you want to watch world class speakers passionate about their topics, talks that are educational, motivational and inspirational TED will not disapoint you.
Needless to say I have learnt a lot by viewing these speeches and you can do the same!
